I have # (not assigned) for some characterstics in the query. How I can
eliminate # when I execute a query (I don't want to see # in the workbook).

anyway go to the global definetion of your query and right click on the characteristic with # values and click on restrict..here you can eliminate your # value. hope this helps.

Eliminate the # by updating the master data for that characteristic.
Do people ever check the 'InfoSource overview' option in the context menus of InfoProviders? There you can see which master data needs updating.

You could dummy in the result by just replacing the blank by a . (period)
Bex is designed to show a # if no value exists for a characteristic but it will not leave it blank.
