Question:
[advertising moderated]
Answer:
I don't know. The moderator has not given me a reason nor did the post conflict with the rules that are mentioned as sticky.
Maybe the moderator is polite enough to tell me which rule he invented.
Changing the rules during the game is not very fair in my point of view.
Answer:
you shouldn't advertise here
Answer:
Explanation :
the reaction of El Belgio was against the original post of Attilasoft, not against my moderation I've done after his reaction.
The rule is clear : NO advertising allowed in this section, even if it was a link to another section of sapfans (now people can try to locate it and read it).
Ch - as moderator
Answer:
Thanks for your reaction, moderator CHC.
If that's the rule I will follow that rule.
To stop this topic in a positive way I propose to change the rules that are mentioned as sticky so that later other people don't break the unwritten rules any more.
I did look at the written rules before posting it.

Check description of the General discussions forum from /forums/index.php:

in Basic rules, it is not said that you cannot post in every forum repeatidily, it is still not allowed.

...The rule is clear : NO advertising allowed in this section, even if it was a link to another section of sapfans (now people can try to locate it and read it).
CHC was aware that my post was under Third Party Products (he moderated the initial message) and he even made an insinuation that people could then go and look there.
So, even the moderators don't have the same opinion about the rules what this issue is concerned.
Again it is clear that this unwritten rule should be added to the written 'Basic rules'. It is very confusing to all the concerned people.
What's more :
...The place where you posted your first message (third party products) is the place where this post must go.
If I need some utility to check anything in SAP, I will go there and read your post.
I think a forum such as 'Third Party Products' is the best place to put it in. Must I put my post next to
- 'Saddam was not pursuing weapons....'
- 'John Kerry'
- 'The French Guantanamo... heh'
Is that really what you want ?
And may I ask why my post was removed and not other commercial posts in the forum 'Third Party Products' such as ' Job Scheduler Fullversion trial for Free' ?
Answer:
I think this thread must be moved to 'Third party products' now.
Provides a lot of fun in the dull, drab BW forum of course, but everything in its' place and so on ...
