I am having some problems actually getting any data in delta loads and wondered if anyone had any ideas where I might be going wrong.
Full loads for both 0FI_GL_4 and 0FI_AP_4 work fine. I've started deltas to ODS's two ways, firstly loading fully GL and AP datasources then inial dataloads (no data transfer GL the FI) or just by doing a full delta initialisation. Either way, when I run the delta packages afterwards, I get no data. Looking at RSA7, there are no entries being created there. Entries are being created in R/3 table BWFI_AEDAT and BWOM2_TIMST for both the datasources.....
Am I missing a basic step here?

It seems that u have not loaded INIT for GL so AP/AR dont have any relative log for first record to be retrieved from R/3.
try to load INIT(with data trasnfer) for GL and then run INIT for AP and AR.

I have re-started the process, initialising gl with data transfer followed by ap, then ran deltas (GL first) however still no data.

The FI extractors 0FI_GL_4, 0FI_AP_4 & 0FI_AR_4 are linked. An extraction using 0FI_GL_4 is required for any data to be available in the other extractors. This is true for a delta also.

The new 0FI_GL_4,0FI_AP_4 & 0FI_AR_4 are not linked which just means that you can have different selections on the infopackage selection screen. However, they are still linked in other perspective, your AP and AR delta has to always follow the GL delta.
Steps.
1) Do not pull full load on any of these extractors.
2) Do an init on 0FI_GL_04,
3) Create a GL document with clearning in R/3. Tcode : F-04.
3) Do a delta on GL_4
4) Do an init either on AP or AR
5) Do a delta.
When running daily deltas,
Run GL_4 delta followed by AP or AR. AP or AR order doesn't matter but any case they have to follow the GL_4 delta load.

FI extractor's delta will not be updated to Delta Queue(RSA7) you would just see 1 record, during extraction , it would use the log table document pointers (BWFI_AEDAT) to get the data directly from the source tables.

The deltas seem to be working now through a combination of running GL delta first and allowing a one day delay in the data coming through.
