Dear all,
1. i am on BIW 3.1 content version..currently i am extracting data from development server of R/3.. now after go-live of BIW what will be my
strategy..how would i connect my BIW system so that i can current data .
and what if someone does changes in development server of R/3.
2. For FI-CO datasources anychange we have to do in R/3 .
just we have to transfer the datasurce from RSA5 to RSA6 for activation....anyother Customizing to be performed for that ..
3. for LIS updating i have created around 500 sales order now i am doing
statistical updating for sales order ( OLI7 ) but i am only getting 100 records.....when i do that for 2-4 times i got all datas ....but it is not the proper way.....so do tell me what i should do....

You r doin OLI7... that is associated only to old documents... so u will not get the entire set of new documents... probably that might be the discrepancy... dont know... will have to c wat u r doin in detail...
Your strategy should be to connect BW n its structures to R/3 datasources, to extract data into BW... strategy is a whole new topic in itself... few steps when u r setting the connection first time... RFC connection... Transfer application component hierarchy... Transfer Business content datasources... Replication of structures in BW... normal design flow in BW... data loads.... will reply later in detail if time permits...
Make sure no other person changes ur datasources or does any other customising on it... (this is logical) or u wont be able to validate the data from the datasource...
For standard datasources... Install the datasources through RSA5... check data through RSA3... check object directory entry or change selection fields n hide fields or enhance standard structures through RSA6... transport n all other common steps in between... replicate those datasource structures ontothe BW side... perform common design steps... pull data...
