Question:
I have a query in which, one Characteristic is placed in the column and lot of calculated key figures in the rows. I want to suppress the rows when there is no value for that calculated key figure. What I particularly mean is whether we can remove that calculated key figure heading also when it doesn't have any values.
Thanks
Answer:
What you are describing is zero suppression. Unfortunately the only way you can do this is in the query display on the web and then save the view. Go to query properties and select suppress as active, effect on rows and columns, and check the Also Use Zero Suppression for Structure Elements in Structure Key Figures. If the entire column is zero, it will hide the column, and like wise for the row.

Answer:
I am not much into reports now, but I think, that when you sppress zeros in BEx (not the Excel function), then you don't get the column title (or row title, as the case may be).
