I've been in SAP for a number of years, but only in BW for 2 months - so I apologise if this is a stupid question .
I've done a search in the forum and haven't found anything that will help me - however, perhaps my search terms weren't good enough. I've seen a few questions on similar, but no answers.
Anyway, I'm bringing over some master data (texts). Currently all languages are coming over - I'd like to limit it to only one language. I cannot do that in the scheduler - although the field is shown in the datasource in R/3. Searching the SAP notes I found references to link the language to the datasource (its already in), but not how to limit the selection - I found one obscure reference to the "language vector" in BW.
Anybody know how to do this?

not sure if I recall this correctly... but I believe you can't for most of the standard objects (I guess there is an OSS note on this)
the language field has to be a selection criteria in the DataSource to be able to make this distinction... and that is not so for (most) BCT DataSources
anyway... does it really matter that the other texts are loaded as well???

Probably a sign of a neat mind . I don't see the point of bring over data that is of no value.
The one DS does have language as selection, but it does not show in the selection screen of the scheduler. Weird .
