You can achieve this with Visual Basic.

Answer:

Earlier I had done few things by using 'BexOnRefresh' but...
... Is this is simple?. I had very limited knowledge on VB?. If this code is simple for you and not take time.... Can you please paste for me the 'main' part of it? - Also I may have to face the problem if I have not coded it generarically... I mean I can not hard code to depending on Column number .. etc..? User have many drill down options??

Any ways thanks, - Don't we have any other settings...

talking about a dumb requirement?!

if you want to be able to use all drill-down options, you must realize that this kind of VB coding won't be simple and it's definitely time-consuming (even if you do have experience in VB)

I'd suggest you either follow a VB course and do it yourself
OR
you try to get rid of this stupid requirement
OR
you create a separate user id for running this query

I think for knowing this in the begining itself, I should become more experienced or inteligent like you. For ppl like me... oops!, we have to take the help of others like you only. Because 'Many' times I posted Questions thinking that 'they' are dumb requirement, but ppl like you (I got many solutions for my earlier Q's from u) used to prove that they are 'not' really dumb requirement.

Yup, I do not think that my user will become 'unsatisfy' with this solution..

Thanks all.

Answer:
don't be offended... that was not my point

the thing is that certain "business people" have these really stupid requirements (believe me, I work for the masters in stupid requirements) usually because they fail to comprehend how software works (and they "don't care how it works"... but hey, as long as they're not willing to understand... they cannot use it's advantages either)

for this specific requirement I personally would have refused to even start working on it, but that's of course my own view
