no data in source system

Question: Hi we transported some infopackages from our dev system to the qa system. and when we try to run the infopackage it says "No data available in the source system" I ran rsa3 in our source system and it does extract data. Can somebody please help. I am in a major fix now.
thx in advance.

Answer:
Did the source system get converted during the transport? (Yellow icon 'Conversion' button in target system Transport Connection)

Answer:
yes it has been converted. the same infopackages run in our dev system. and they dont seem to work here in QA. Do you think it has something to do with RFCs and IDOCs. the connections seem ok to the r/3 system.
thx,
saranya

Answer:
I'll quickly be out of my depth on this topic, but can you extract any data from the same source system in QA? If you run the Check option from the SourceSystem context menu does it report that the connection is okay?

Answer:
1) do you have ANYTHING else that got loaded in BW recently
if yes, no link problem

2) you tranported from DEV : check that the eventual restrictions you made in DEV for this infopackage are valid in PRD

Answer:
replicate datasource?

Answer:
If it's not a generic extractor, what does the queue (RSA7) in R/3 say ( I don't always rely on it, though, but it is a good pointer)? If you run the same IP twice in BW, the queue should get reset to 0, which means that there was no data in the queue for transfer to BW.
