Hi All,
My scenario is like this. Creation of Applicants in the system (in the company, rather) are not so frequent, and when an applicant is created, there are 95% chances that him/her will be eventually hired. Now there are several departments in the company and the heads of these departments want to know who they are hiring.
I have created a Standard Task (Object : APPLICANT, Task : Display) that will trigger a workitem to the assigned agents whenever an Applicant is created in the system. I'm also maintaining Org Assignment Infotype details for the applicant. Now my requirement is that I want the workitem to go only to the concerned department head and not to all the department heads. This will be determined by the Personnel Area to which the Applicant has been assigned. Now, how do i make my workitem to go to a particular agent based on the Applicant's Personnel Area.

You create role by responsibilty with container element Personal area and assign your users based on that for each responsibilty u create

Hi,
I have created a new role and created responsibilities based on PERSONNEL AREAS. I have assigned HR Positions to these responsibilities which in turn are assigned to SAP User Ids. I have also maintained Possible agents at the Task Level. Still my workitems go to all the Possible Agents and not to the Agent to be determined by the Responsibility. To give you a clear picture here's what i have done:
Possible Agents:
position 1 - User 1
position 2 - User 2
position 3 - User 3
Responsibilities :
position 1 - Personnel Area 1 - User 1
position 2 - Personnel Area 2 - User 2
position 3 - Personnel Area 3 - User 3
If i create an Applicant in Personnel Area 2, still the mail goes to all my possible agents User 1, 2 and 3. I want it to go only to User 2. Where am i going wrong?
