Currently we are running process chains in our QA and production boxes. In each box we are sending some emails based upon failures and others when the chain starts. The problem is that there is no easy way to tell the difference between QA and production error messages. If possible we would prefer not to have to manually define the texts for each message in each system. So here is my question: Is there a way to define a variable in a process chain email's text/subject so as to include the system name?

Now to anwer your question : i've worekd quite a lot with process chains, and i never found a way to achieve this.
As you might have read in the previous threads : the mailing system i Process chains is based on the SAP Office functionalities but in a very restricted way. The functionalities of mailing in process chains should improve a lot in 3.5, so maybe this is an available feature then...
