Hi, There was an old note 384023 that said you should break up your loads to less than 1 million records. I believe the note references only 2.0 and 2.1C. Any idea if this is still valid for 3.1 on up?

The problem was in activation.
The problem still exists in 3.0 .. but you could always throw hardware at it ( increase RAM).
Also it depends on the size of your data set.

Not sure what the note refers to, but in BW 3.x I've routinely loaded and activated ODS with multi millions data records.
