I just want to find out some of your experiences with SAP BW Gui 3.0B/SAPGui 6.20 in a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation environment.
We installed SAP Gui 6.20 on NT workstation as follows:
- uninstalled the SAP Gui 46D
- Installed SAPGui 6.20/30B
The SAPGui appears to have many problems with both Bex and SAPlogon just hangs. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling 6.20 even that does not help.
We are concerned if this happens across the company the access of all users to even SAP R/3 itself could stop and people will be so unhappy with BW then.
Can any of you share your experiences with SAPGui 6.20 on NT workstation 4.0 with service pack 6

Hi,
We have installed SAPGUI 6.20 and BW 30B on NT SP6.. there are no issues with it..
We have also installed the latest SAPGUI and BW30B patches.. i recommend you do the same.. make sure you have all the GUI patches installed..
Also, there is no need to uninstall 46D before you install 6.20.. the new sapadmin tool (part of SAPGUI) can take care of the upgrade
