does anybody know why some work item with the same priority have different processing time (time between work item dialog creation and work item reservation to approver's SAP inbox).

Workitem processing time is not just depends on its priority. Priority is considered only to give the priority in case if there are many workitems need to processed (or created) at the same time. There are various factors that can impact on processing time one among could be tRFC traffic.
