Question:
In the 0material infoobject
I have a key figure 0volume as a display attribute in 0material
This key figure is not attribute only.
I want the 0volume as the navigational attribute in the report .
How can i do that.
In the attributes tab for the key figures which are used as the attribute the change mode(display<>navigation) is not active.

Shikher
Answer:
Since your attribute is an InfoObject of type Key Figure, you can't switch on as navigational, this is only possible for attributes of type Characteristic
Answer:
are you wanting to create a variable off your key figure? you can do that through query designer, whereby user can type in a range of the key figure value they are looking for or a greater than or less than, or basically any arithmatic operator available as well...not sure why you would want it as navigational other than to be able to do something like what i mentioned above...could you explain your real intentions.

Shikher,
Could you please let me know the work around if you were able to get answer for your post ??
My requirement is something like this... I have a key figure as a attribute of master data.. and I want this key figure to be placed in the "Columns" list in Query.. Thoght it can be done only if the Attribute is Navigationalable ??? Please advise if my assumption is wrong..
Thanks
Mavi
Answer:
You can do this.........
create a formula variable on the 0material and choose the replacement path..choose replace with attribute value and select "volume".once you are done .go to the column section and create a new formula(by right clicking on "keyfigure") and then select the created formula variable .you are all set.let me know if this works.
Answer:
Hi anita,
i tried this, but it seems that the pre requisite is that the material needs to be displayed in either rows or columns. it doesn't work when it is placed in free characteristics.
Any workaround?
thanks.
