Question:
Does anyone know of a way to stop the WAD automatically validating the HTML code everytime you switch to and from displaying the HTML? It sometimes takes nearly 5 minutes to validate it and its driving me crazy!!!
Answer:
Nope, you're S.O.L. pretty much.
Though, it shouldn't take more then 5-10 seonds to validate. Unless you have a super huge template (by that I mean really, really big.)
Either you have a very slow computer, or there might be something wrong with your installation.

Stephen - thanks for the response. Its definately not the local PC as its a P4 with 768meg. The HTML code is not immense either.
Could you recommend any areas where we could get our BASIS team to check the installation?
Answer:
The only thing I could recomend is a complete uninstall and reinstall of the SAPGUI, and making sure you are up to date on the latest patch for the GUI.

Answer:
You could also run the PC Check XLA spreadsheet which runs through your GUI install and checks all related files. You open it in Excel, its one of the XLA's under your SAP install.
That will let you know if there are any DLL's, OCX's etc.. which may or may not be correct.
