Question:
Dear BW Gurus,
We are currently using BW 30B Level 15 and several of our financial query results display the message "'Calculating result as...' was not executed" at the top of the query results. The totals and report information are correct but we have not been able to get rid of this message.
I have gone through the query in question and made sure that the properties on all the key figures show "(Nothing Defined)" so I've eliminated that as being a possible cause of the problem.
In general, is there any way to keep warning messages from printing at the top of the query results?
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your time and expertise.
Best regards,
Steve S.
Answer:
if you are delivering your queries through the web then yes you can configure your web template properties to "supress all warning messages"
if running through BEx (excel) then you might be out of luck. I would still look into this message, it sounds like you might have a characteristic restricted somewhere within your key figures but then again displaying the key figure with a variable in overall query (either in your rows/free characteristics).
