Answer:
Dear Venkat,
Thanks for the inputs.
I am trying to create one Process chain with your given steps.

Actually I want to assign the Info package group to the process 'START'.

Appreciate if you could give us similar steps from where I can include the Info Package group for loading the data into Cube.

Thanks in advance.

Answer:
Well, one of the reasons to create a process chain, is to get rid of infopackage groups!
As far as I know, you can't include an infopackage group in a process chain.

You should add every infopackage to the process chain.

Answer:
Dear Venkat,

Additional Info for my query:
We have SM36 job schedule for the Info package group. This info package group consists of two info packages that will trigger one after the other and after completing the second we have a BADI User Exit to trigger at Info package group level. This User Exit will delete the old requests loaded in the same week. So we would like keep the functunality of the user exit to delete using the Process chains.
Please let me in detail, how I can use the deletion functunality using the Process chain.

Thanks in advance.

Answer:
1. execute two infopackages one after the other: no problem
2. delete previous requests: also no problem. There is a service called 'Delete overlapping requests from infocube' that deletes the previous requests of the infopackage. You have to create a variant for that containing the infopackages.
In those infopackages however you should also enter the deletion criteria, in you case '...in last 7 days'.
Just try it out, it isn't that hard.

W.
