Guys,
I am new to the FI area with BW. I am trying to load data in FI/GL/AP & AR areas. I have a couple of questions.
1. Should i use the ODS to load line items. In AP and AR i see standard cubes for line items.
2. After doing a full update to ODS. Do i have to load ODS data into the cube or do a seperate load to the cube.
For example in GL the transaction data cube is loaded from data source 0fi_gl_1.
I would really appreciate if you can tell me the process.

Dinesh- for line items in GL and AR I used 0FI_GL_4 and 0FI_AR_4 DS.
Since ...GL_4 is after image delta its not suitable to load into infocubes directly. The BC ODS is 0FIBL_O02 and 0FIAR_O03 for line items. moreover I understand that ..GL_4 has to be loaded first before loading ..AR_4 or ..AP_4.

Naresh, since some may go thru this post , a small update:
Since PI 2002.2, there is no need to load FI/GL so as to bring data for FIAR or FIAP.Detached loading is possible. Check for Note 551044
