we finished the upgrade form BW2.0B to BW3.0B.
Unfortunbately the Data Sources for the Data Mart Interfaces
are not visible. In SBIW lots of DS are under Notes Not Connected.
Any Idea how to get the DM Data Sources. Replicate and Activation of
MY SAP BW System didn't work.

Try RSA9 in the BW system to transfer the application component hierarchy again. Later, you can use RSA6 if you need to reorganize. See OSS note 534894, this will also tell you how to save the hierarchy to a transport.
I have an upgraded test system, this was one of my problems. However, I still cannot activate new ODS objects without getting an invalid source system error .... the fun never ends.
Oh yeah .. also ... for display on the admin workbench choose "settings-->display generated ods objects".

OK ... fixed my other problem. Had to "Restore" the source system for the BW datamart (my test box has a different name then the system from which it was copied).

Hi Bgip,
thanks, that is the workaround we did. Before the Upgrade we tried to save the APCO in a transport and re-import it after the upgrade. But that doesn't work, 'cause APCO is not valid for BW3.0 only APCO MERGED.
Unfortunately we only have a customized APCO tree and no Business Content. Therefore I strongly recommend to save / put down the Origin Hierarchy before upgrading the system.
