Question:
Hi pals ,
1).when i try to edit the Infosource(Infosoure right click -"change" ) , its giving message that " No active Object " ..
2). when i try to edit the transfer rules of source system assigned to the same Infosource , its shortdumping .. with below message

But believe me , it has got transfer rule and extracting data from R/3 production to BW every day !!!!
Can anyone suggest , how can i activate infosource / edit transfer rules ..
Pls note that we are in BW 2.0B ..

Answer:
An info object somehow got changed and is in inactive state.
if you are in test or prd you can retransport from dev
if in dev check in display mode which object is inactive - go and reactivate inactive objects .
if u cant go in to diaplay mode - install business content again (if u r using business content) else check all objects in the Infosource (if you have documented your infosource - you will have the list of your objects )

I did applied the notes and it worked ..
But onething i don't understand is ,
this note is to create a Z program and had be implemented in SAP pack 26..
we are in Pack level 27 ..
But some how ,it doesn't exist in our system ...!
Anyway , it resolved the issue .. but still querious to know ..
