When I add a condition/exception, and click the Table icon to go back to the results table. The condition/exception has been applied.
What is the correct method of saving the applied condition or exception?
To try and save this I have been clicking the Query Designer icon to go back to the query design screen.
This appears to take you back to the Query design screen, but it's not the original one and you end up having two version of your query open!!
If the only thing that has changed is the addition of condition/exception and you then click save (on one or both the query design screens) you get the message 'Query definition has not changed' and when you go back in there is no sign of the condition/exception you created earlier.
Our users only have the Ad-hoc Query Designer functionality and therefore cannot apply these condtions/exceptions in any other way.
I have searched the forum but cannot find anything to help.

A colleague has stumbled across the answer..... The exceptions/conditions have to be added on the Ad-hoc Query designer screen not the report.
The Options for conditions/exceptions can be found by clicking on your query name. The options to amend Properties and attach Documents is also available here.
