Question:
have the following scenario...
I created a view and on the top of view i created a generic datasource
with generic delta and the delta pointer field as Calendar day which is mapped to last change date field...
I loaded the initial delta load on 20th .It was successful.The very next day I changed a record in the table and the date was changed to 21.
now when i did the delta load the monitor said that no records were found
Am I interpreting the meaning of calendar day wrong in case of pointer as date field or is it something else.
I checked the roosource table
it showed the delta method as AIE.
I checked the rodeltam table and it shows that the delta is of type E(pull type)
In the generic datasource i checked the "new status for changed records"
I didnt mention the upper limit and the lower limit becuase according to my understainding the date has changed(increased) and the extractor should pull the record at the time of delta load.

how can i do that...

regarding the delta load check SAP note 730373.
And regarding giving an email when the load fails you can do that by scheduling the load thru process chain and create a message thru which
you can send emails when the load fails.
