How to make 1 formula apply for different quarter.

Use formula variable to write uniform formula. Filter the the key figure using the formula variable. Formula variable takes input from the selection criteria given in the selection screen.

Q1 Amt will be Apr Amt + May Amt + Jun Amt
eg Apr Amt in Q1 = AR(Apr) - Sales(Apr) / Sales (Mar) * 30
eg May Amt in Q1 = AR(May) - Sales(May) / Sales (Apr) * 30
eg June Amt in Q1 = AR(June) - Sales(June) / Sales(May) * 30
We can have 3 calculated KF and get the Apr, May and Jun Amt to compute Q1 Amt.
But we need another 3 for Q2 and another 6 for Q3 and Q4. Hence we will be using 12 calculated KFs. Apart from this we need to have additional restricted KF to restrict the various months in each quarter.
This is one form of solution but this will be a cumbersome activity to have so many KFs.
Any better method is available where we can defined the KFs for Q1 and then adapt the same for Q2, Q3 and Q4?
