Hi,
i am at a total loss, i have an export datasource that loads from 1 cube to another.
the source cube has lots of data in it, i know this as i have looked directly in the cube (via listcube, and running query's)
i have already loaded data from the source cube to the 2nd cube successfully (with selection of company code and value type).
i want to load more data from the source cube to the 2nd cube, but whenever i try, i get the error (regardless of the selection, sometimes i select on calmonth, i have even tried running it with no selections. i have also tried RSA3, and no data is selected!)

Diagnosis
The data request was a full update.
In this case, the corresponding table in the source system does not
contain any data.

Info IDoc received with status 8.
Procedure
Check the data basis in the source system.
as i said before, i know for a fact there is data in the source cube for those selections. (i even get the error when there are no selections on the infopackage)
i have re-generated the datasource and replicated, i have re-activated the transfer rules, i have tried a full update, as well as an initialisation, and still it says no data in source system.
i have no idea what to do!
can ANYONE PLEASE help?

Maybe redo some very basic checks like : are you sure you are trying to run an infopackage on the cube1 and not on the cube2, for instance.
Looks stupid as a proposal, but with similar names, it happen more often than you can think.

I am not suspecting anything wrong with Infopack because your RSA3 test on cube is not giving you any data. What is the BW version and patch level you are on.
I would advise you to test with RSA3 once again with different selection parameters.

I am on BW 3.1C SP12.
i have tried RSA3 multiple times with multiple different selections, or even leaving all selections blank (so selecting all data) but still no records are retrieved. i have looked at the "F" table and all the "D" tables, and there is definitely data in them all

I have resolved this problem.
when loading via a datamart, BW uses a factview table
/BIC/V<cube name>F
this table somehow was empty.
i simply re-activated the source cube, and voila, the problem was solved.

you can use report SAP_FACTVIEWS_RECREATE to adjust the views.
