Question:
I have several transaction DataSources I am combining into an InfoCube. All of them have a 2 characteristics that are the same.
When I filter my query by say CHAR3 then none of the records from Transaction DataSource 2 are picked up because DataSource 2 would not have the characteristic populated with any values.
Would it be best to put each transaction datasource in it's own cube and build a multi-cube?
Thanks for any opinions you can give...
I think I am missing something here, because, if you are filtering by CHAR3, actually is correct that no Datasource2 records are picked up....
That is why also, I think multicube is not the solution...

Answer:
I was missing the fact that I should specify that I want the '#' values as well. That will help I believe...
Thanks all..
