Answer:
Subbareddy,
Make sure 'sapgw00 3300/tcp' is defined in your services file for your second problem with BEX. See OSS Note 447882 below:
The SAP gateway host is deactivated or the TCP/IP port 33xx (where xx
corresponds to the system number) is not open.
Issue statement ping <IP address> (In this example:192.168.4.2) No
reply: Boot SAP Gateway host required.
An answer:Check whether the TCP/IP port 33xx is open (where xx
corresponds to the system number) and start the SAP gateway.
The TCP/IP port is also partially defined in the services file as an
sapgw<SID> or sapgwxx entry (where xx corresponds to the system number).
The services file is in the Windows directory or in
WinNT/System32/drivers/etc.

Tezal

Hi
Can you log in to the BW system ok with your GUI? If so then there is a possible problem with your workstation setup. Please make sure your 'services' file does not have any extensions such as .txt or .sam. The OS will not read this file if it does.
Regards,
Tezal
Answer:
Hi Tezal
I am able to log from SAP GUI from all systems.
And I am able to login Bex from server itself and One more system.
But Unable to connect Bex from remaining systems .Strange!
what parameters should I check at workstation? or problem with server?
I chceked services file no extension.
Thanks

Answer:
Hi
Make sure the entry for the gateway is in the 'Services' file on all systems trying to connect and also the IP address with server name is in the 'Host' file on all systems trying to connect. It seems to me that your server is configured ok. Check the configuration on the other machine that can connect and compare to the ones that can't. Again make sure the Services, Host, and if you use LMHost files do not have any extension on them.
Regards,
Tezal

Hi Reddy
Could you resolve the connectivity problem from BEx to SAP gateway? We have a similar problem.

Answer:
Hi there!
I'm facing this problem right now: I just can't run BEx tools and I absolutely don't know why...
I've met exactly the same scenario as the one you can see above: I can ping the remote machine, I can telnet 32xx, 33xx and 36xx ports, my service file is completed with sapgwXX 33xx/tcp...
And the computer displays the following error:

Answer:
Do you access the web through a proxy server? Check your internect connection settings under tools->internet options in the connection tab->Lan settings. have your defined your proxy server properly? Like http://autoproxy.xxx.com or something similar, and box checked?
Check your proxy script and see whether any alias has been defined for your BW server(s), check with your basis whether they have any 'relocatable' server names defined (for failover purposes). These names should match or have a correct mapping.
