Geting an RRMX query to show up in favorites

Question: Hi, I'd like to get an RRMX query to show up in favorites. Right now it looks like only the web version of my queries is available. Is there any way to get the query to appear so that BEx is kicked off?

Thanks

Answer:
When you are prompted to save a new query in a role (or favorites), what you are really saving is the URL to run that query on the Web. Even if this is deleted, the query will still be available, attached to the InfoProvider.

Therefore, the answer to your question is to run the query in the BEx Analyzer, and then save the workbook as a favorite.

Hope this helps...

Bob

Answer:
Yes, this is the exact procedure, but do not forget to set the interaction if needed. If you have user entry variables in your query, and you want them to be filled for each execution, you should change the workbook properties to be refreshed when opended.

Answer:
Now for query designer, I added some queries into my favorites.

The question now is
1/ Could you remind me the transaction where I can remove from favorites?
2/ Like to also rename the query descriptions (I changed it under query property but that did not update the favorite)

Thank you,

Catherine

Just go to the SAP Easy Access Menu (TA S000) and righ-click on the favorite: you'll see you have the option to change and delete the query.
