Question:
Is it possible to use Jump Targets without logging into R/3. If a user needs to login everytime, we need to provide a login and maintain the security. Is it possible in any way to create a user id alone in R/3 and then use Jump targets to use that user id and jump to R/3 without user actually logging in to the R/3 system.
I would appreciate if any one could provide a solution.
Thanks for your reply in advance

Answer:
Vasun,
What do you mean by logging into the R/3 system? Do you mean just the BW system or going back into the source R/3 system?

Answer:
I don't assume anything, especially when it comes to questions about SAP.
Answer:
in a workplace environment , you could use Single Sign On, this way the user only has to log in once (in the workplace).

I would like to know the answer too. Whenyou want to jump to a target from a workbook, the R/3 logon screen pops up. I think this is what Vasun means. SAP (OSS) says that jump targets use the LOGSYS_DIALOG connection, so I don't know how the logon dialog can be avoided. Perhaps it's different in 3.0B?
Can anybody respond???
