Question:
Logoff doesn't work exactly right. If I press logoff, all BW windows should close
The problem is that if I have more than one window open because I have drilled down which produced additional BW web sessions, it is a little confusing to logoff. After pressing the Logoff button, I got an error if there were BW Web sessions open. Then I tried to log off by clicking the X on the BW Web session and that didn’t always work especially after pressing the Logoff button.

This doesn't work on the web.
sandhya77 - I believe this issue is discussed in an OSS note somewhere (I forget exactly where I gleened this info.), but in the case of the web, if you use the logoff command or close your web session, it doesn't affect your GUI or your other open browser windows connected to BW.
In the case of closing the GUI from a web session, that would never work, but in the case of closing all connected web browser windows to a BW session, I don't know what the exact explination of why that wouldn't or couldn't work.
The above suggestion by Chetan only works on GUI sessions.
