BW experts - I have 2 infocubes. I would like to create a multiprovider based on 2 characteristics that are common to both cubes: document number and GL account. In the 1st cube, GL account and document number exists in separate dimensions with other characteristics. In the 2nd cube, they exist in the same dimension. Is it possible to create a multiprovider this way and if it does, is the result set going to make any sense.

yes. Multiprovider won't care inconsistencies in the base cube models.
It will return results, whether it makes sense or not depends on other things.
Perfromance is a different story though, glaccount+dicnumber in same dimension does not look like a good design, that dimension will be unnecessarily big, and may cause bad performance...
