Hardcoded username and password in web template

Question: We need to use a dummy user for one public report. When entering the web application from the intranet no login screen should appear. Is it possible to hardcode userid in the web template and/or in the URL? Is there any other options to make a report available without login? (offline/pre-calculated template is not possible).

Answer:
It was easy, only to add the following parameters to the URL:

&SAP-USER=username&SAP-PASSWORD=password

Answer:
hi
i have come across this requirement and i could do it with the settigns in ITS(but it was 2.1 c Though).

but i think same can be possible to have a screen (login screen) appear or not.but you need to take care about the object level security to the BW as this automatic log in will directly by pass the bw login security.so we may have to depend on the object level securities with in the user profile and roles. the query may touch and lead to lot of information which may not be allowed to be seen by the intending user(public)
but I think we can create a view(static) and allow this with boject level security to the user in question.

please correct me if i am wrong.

have a great day

Answer:
hi TML
so this allows you to get into bw without login screen...

and all the securities that are linked to the user will be applied to it..
