Keyfigure

Question: Question;
We have a query against our SD-cube with a keyfigure called "material costs". In this query I will present our incoming salesorder but also our creditorders for every customer. To get the true result I would like to have a negative value for the material costs if itīs a credit order and ofcourse a positive value if it is an ordinary salesorder. Is it possible to make a keyfigure that works like that? Right now I get alse the credit order as a positive value.

Example:

Customer: 1234
Material costs
Sales order 123100 EUR
Credit order -3100 EUR
Result 120000 EUR

/Morgan

Answer:
It depends of course of the level of detail of the cube.
If you have 1 record per document, and if you're on 3.0, you can create a calculated KF on a restricted key figure, multiplying by -1 a restriction on the credit orders ...

Answer:
Thanks for your answer, but then I will have to colums? I would really like to have one colum there the keyfigure is positive in all cases except when it is an credit order.. Is it possible?

Answer:
Afetr, you can use the special formula ' A + B', which adds 2 columns into only 1.
