Hello all,
the event linkage for my workflow was deactivated about a month ago. I am wondering if there is any transaction code in SAP which I can use to see exactly when the last workflow messages were sent out? any debugging tool in SAP? I cannot seem to find any transaction whcih gives me a list of workflow items for a particular workflow template.

use swi2_freq to view the workflow activity. From there you will be able to figure out which was the last workflow to go through correctly. Also on your event linkage change the "behaviour upon error feedback" to "do not change linkage", this way if there are errors workflow won't deactivate, it will keep aside the error item and keep processing the future ones. You can take care of the errored one using SWEAD
