I have one column structure of key figures(say m in #) and other of resctricted time charactertics(say n in #).
Current: It gives me (m X n) # of columns.
Desired: I want to choose specific (say less than m X n ) # of columns based on combinations withing above two structures !!
I hope I hv been able to expain to u guys !!

Scenario: I have to display KeyFigure1(KF1) and KeyFigure(KF2) sliced across Month Range 1(M1) and another Month Range(M2). So there are two Key figures with their respective time ranges !! as usual key figures are in one sturcture. and time ranges are drilled across fm free charctestics.
Current method: I resticted the KF1 with its time range M1 and restricted the KF2 with its time range M2. (M1 and M2 are both variabbles - month intervals defined by me).
Problem to be cured: KF1 displays correct (desired) values for its time rangeM1, but also displays 'blank' columns (undesired) for the other time range M2. --> i donot want these 'blank ' columns
PS: pls donot suggest 'suppress zero columns' option, as logically these key figures are not zero, but restricted, so this doesnt work !!
i hope this time im more understable on the prob defination !!
