Question:
I have assigned documents of different MIME-Types to Metadata-Objects. Although links for all assigned documents are shown on the webpage, only TXT-Documents can be displayed. If I click on the link for a Word or PDF Document, I receive a 404-error message. (no 401 or 403!!!)
In the AWB, all documents are displayed correct in the preview!
Could it be a authorization problem or do I have to change settings in the Content Management Framework where the logical names are linked to physical files?

It should start as i m working on it with WORD Document attachment and its fine.
Error 404 is generic got lotta scenarios.
List the detailed error message pliz

Hi Chetan,
I have recently fixed the problem by repairing the root directory settings. I executed a function module which is mentioned in SAP Note 499480.
Word/PDF/Gif are displayed correctly now!
