Hi BW fans!
we just finished to install BW 3.0b
i call RSA1 and the BW system try to generate his own source system, but i get the error
"Basic type ZSAA002 does not exist" and then "Action terminated"
And now whenever i execute "Check" on this source system i get the message.
What it is wrong ?
What should i do ?(in BW3.0a i didn't have this situation in the beginning )

after basis guy said "installation is ok, sp ok" i just call RSA1....
i debugged RSA1 and i saw that the system try to generate it's own source system if it's not exist yet
in my case the system began to generate but the error appear...

create IDOC ZSAA002 in ur system if it doesnt exist.

it's about BW own source system
i executed "Restore " but the error is still there

i did this :
- i made an test infosouce ZTST under DM-IO for this source system
- i loaded some test data for an InfoObject(for test purpose) - loading ok
and now i don't know to pass over this error
and i don't get it : if "Check" generate error why loading is ok ?
(i worked in BW 30a till now but in BW 30b... )

Now I experience the same problem, even in 3.1 Business Content. I try to use WE30 to create the ZSAA002 Idoc manually to resolve the problem, as suggested by chetan, but what should I fill in for the parameters in WE30? Can Chetan give me a hand on this.

Sharon,
we are not creating these IDOCs and there is no need to create these IDOCs at all.
System automatically creates these IDOCs when u created a source system for BW.
please follow the steps from El Belgio.
we got the same problem and once we deleted the source system and re created again sloved the issue.
please let me know if it need some more information

Well El and martin both r rite we dont need to create IDOCS they r automaticallly created by system,it was just work around i had mentioned to u.
Even i didnt find any note on this hope some one figures it out for u or myself later.
But till then u can work out with same trick u tried earlier

Yes.
I belive this error will go once u delete source system and create again.
we did same and there is no problem at all now.
