I am activating Sales Overview cube (0SD_C03) which has the time field of Fiscal Year Period (0FISCPER). I am using the following datasources:

None of these datasources contain an entry for the Fiscal Year Period, is there a reason for this? I know the old style Snnn datasources did. Is there a work round to get the fiscal year peiod in?

As long as you have Fiscal Year Variant you should be able to convert a date into Fiscal Period. In the update rules under Time Reference for 0SD_C03, if you have Calendar Day (for example), assign this to Fiscal Period. You will then see a Green Check in Automatic Time conversion. This is indicating that Calendar Day will be converted to Fiscal Period based upon your Fiscal Year Variant. If you aren't bringing in Fiscal Year Variant from any of your InfoSources, you can also hard code the Fiscal Year Variant (i.e. K4) and all your conversions from Calendar Day to Fiscal Period will be based upon K4.
