Hi,
I am running BW 3.2 and have activated the technical content and loaded the data. I have access to all the info cubes fine within BW Admin.
When I try to run a BEx or web querry i get the error message below.
Do I need another Role assigned to myself? I already have SAP_BW_ALL, and several other developer and admin roles. I am able to run queries on all other infocubes (no statistics) just fine.

Diagnosis
The system determined the authorized characteristic values for the characteristic 0TCTIFCUBE. In doing so, it was determined that you do not have authorization for any characteristic values.
System response
If this situation occurs when filling a variable, then the query cannot be executed.
Procedure
For the characteristic 0TCTIFCUBE, you have to have authorization for an least one characteristic value. Specify authorizations for users for the following authorization objects: ZA0_SREP
If you only have authorization for such evaluations for aggregations (with ":" authorizations) using the characteristic 0TCTIFCUBE, then you use a query without this characteristic. If the characteristic is used neither in the filter nor in the drilldown, then no variable needs to be used.

Found it on my own.
It seems the ABAP security guy forgot to assign me a role that has an Authorization Object that has access to technical content.
He setup what I think is an overly complex wazy to manage this and to maintain authorizations for technical content manually, but I guess he had his reasons. I spent alot of time researching this in User Roles, User Maint, etc.
