Urget: Process chain Error

Question: Hello,
Every one i'm getting this below error while running the Process to load master data for a ODS.

Process chain Error :@5C@ Delete init. request REQU_3QA70FCT0TVCL4TG7IQWXXBTQ before running init. again with same selection @35@

Thanks in advance...

Answer:
You are trying to do an initial load somewhere while there is already one active;
you can only load a delta
or delete first the previous initialization

following me, process chain should only contain delta packages, as a process chain is suppose to be used several times, while initialization is seldom done

Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the advise but when i try to load manully it works.when i run the load with process chain i get this error.I don't really understnad.I can make out that there is some thing wrong in Process chain.

What you are saying is also is correct i tried to find out that Init : Request but i couldnt.How can i find that INIT request and delete.Please advise.

Regards,
cks

Answer:
If you don't know how to delete the init request, I wonder how you were able to load manually ? Perhaps did you perform a full load, which is not the same as an initial load...

Anyway, in the infopackage, go for menu "scheduller", option "initialization option..."

Ch

Answer:
Ch,

Answer:
IS stands for infosource

my guess is that your process chain is set up to load several things, and one of those things is an initial load;
my other guess is that your checked one infopackage (and notice this option greyed out) while in fact it is another infopackage in the same process chain that is giving the problem

Ch

Answer:

1) did you notice that this site is worldwide reachable and that it could happen that other people need some sleep while you are still working ?

2) a process chain is the compilation of different subsequent events, some of these events are infopackages, so you will need to check each infopackage included in your process chain, and in the infopackage check wether it is set for an initial load (if you don't know how to check this, I will refer you to the last paragraph of the sticky of this forum)

Regarding doc, you could browse service.sap.com/bw, but as you don't have the password... (same as needed for oss notes)
on help.sap.com, you can also find the general bw doc (under netweaver), I don't know if they speak about process chain in details or not
