Hello Experts,
Is there any way to summarize by attribute in a query? For example, 0MATERIAL has an attribute called Std. Ind. Desc. I have hundreds of items with the same value in this attribute, but I want to see just one total line with the sum of all sales for that attribute,
I can sort by it, but then I have to manually total the lines using Excel. Am I overlooking something really simple here?

Answer:
If you modify Std. Ind. Desc. of 0material into a navigational attribute, and then allow it to be shown as navigational in the cube, you will then be able to achieve your goal.
Check the documentation/training material to re-read something about the difference between display attributes and navigational attributes.
