Hi,
I am working to create release procedure.
I set up release procedure for PR. I created Orgn. plan with orgn. units , Positions, and jobs. I assigned user ids to Positions.I allocated Release codes to Jobs along with plants.
When i create PR , work item is not getting created. There is a problem in role resolution.
Earlier I allocated Positions to release codes. As Orgn. plan is big, i changed it to jobs.
I could not figure out why it is not working. I am wondering whether the way i am doing is wrong.
Could you help me out?

The PR Release WF does not get triggered when the PR is created but when it is 'Initially Released' in transaction ME54.

WHen i assigned position to taske , work item is created . When I save Purchase requisition, work item appears in the inbox. But when aasign Job , i am getting error saying error WL 410 in inbox as I am work flow administrator.

I mean in your step you are using a role to determine your agents right?
you think maybe the role is not working now you are using jobs instead of
positions, still right?
my advice is to make sure your role is working (standard role for purchase requisition is 20000026), so in transaction PFAC_DIS you can visualize te role and test it SHIFT + F8. It ask you for a release code and Purchase requisition (use the input help) , if it is working then you will get a list of all agents.

I have created Orgn plan like this.
HR-Orgn unit( Position: Director (Head ), Job: Director )
HR1-Orgn unit( Position: Manager(Head) , Job : Manager )
Position: HR Specialist , Job: Buyer )
Job: Director , Job: Director have been attached to Release codes 10 , 20 respectively for Plant and release group.
I replaced role 20000026 with role 00000168 .
When I used role 20000026 and attached position with release code , it worked well.
When I tried using 20000026 and attached job with release code , it did not work. Thatswhy I changed it to 00000168.
Am i missing something?

When I checked binding definition of task TS20000159 Overall release of requisition , i got these errors.
"No container definition available
Message no. W8 100
Diagnosis
No container definition for formulating expressions is available. Therefore, no expressions could be formulated using element names.

Where do i define this container definition?
