Hi guys,
in 30B,
I am trying to install business content for ODS object 0PUR_O01;
I've installed the needed infoobjects, then the ODS itself, finally the infosources and their transfer rules;
and I am now trying to install the four update rules provided by the business content, but I receive an error message telling me "Object UPDR 8IN60xxxx could not be found"; this object being the update rule I want to install... (same problem with all the four rules)
the explanation of it seems that the object has not been shipped by SAP, but as I don't find any OSS documentation related to that, I was wondering if somebody here already had the same kind of problem ?

depending on the 30 patch you are on, SAP missed out on some business content.. try it with patch 6 and above for 30B.. it should work fine then

Unfortunately, I am already on patch 6...
In fact, it seems that the object is there, as I am able to find its definition and content via the documentation ;
I am now able to create a custom update rule that would do the same as the standard one, as a have all definitions, but I would like to avoid to start working this way !

My great colleague found it !!
In fact, I was running the installation in simulation mode.
He did it in real mode, and the message was different and more obvious.
So, in fact the object was there, but the system could not activate the update rules as some needed fields were not provided by the infosource to the routines, that's it.
I am now chasing which objects to add in the comm structure.

This is to end the story...
In fact, my update rule kept on telling me that it needed some more fields that were not provided by my infosource. It was surprising, as everything was coming from the BC.
I remembered then that my infosource was from BC out of 20B, while my update rules were coming from BC out of 30B.
So, I decided to delete the infosource and reinstall it from BC 30B, and now everything is working fine.
Just keep it somewhere at the back of your head if you have to upgrade...
