Hi All,
In which situations can I use Virtual Key figures?
My situation is as below:
I've a stock qty for a current month(M) in my cube. There is a calculative keyfigure in the report called 'end stock'.
Now, my user wants to report on current month(M) and M+1. Sometimes he would want to report on M and M+2.
The stock for M+1 is the 'end stock' of month M. How do I built such situations?

Virtual key figure should be your last option because of performance issues;

Answer:
You can use VKF, but you loose on performance. You can make restricted Key Figure for calmonth and use offset.
