hello all,
I performed a delta upload into infocube - HR_PY_01 as usual the last month, which i have been doing for past 2 years.
My delta upload failed, when i tried to look into the monitor i see the 'Deletion messages' under the Details tab. It reads as the data was deleted after the successul upload into the infocube.
Generally we only see four messages (broadly speaking) under details tab for a normal upload.
1.'requests'
2. Extraction
3. transfer
4. Processing
My question is i have done a normal delta upload, without any selections made in the infocube for deletion of data(I left the 'delete entier Content of data target' unchecked under data targets tab in the Infopackage screen) it was just a normal upload as usual, how come this deletion has occured after successul uploading of data from infocube, I did not make any other seletions for automatic deletion. why has this happened?..
please clarify, when we get this deletion messages get included in the monitor screen.

hello.
we have noticed a similar behaviour; i hope it can help.
We had an Infocube, with 2 million data inside.
After transporting a CR to add a keyfigure, the data disappear.
With the Basis guys, we have noticed BW stores data in temporary tables during a CR transport and after the succesful transport it transfer the data again.
the technical tables are 8cm<infocube name> or something like that.
try to search in se16 *<infocube>* to check if there are "strange" tables in BW that might contain the data.
