Question:
Hi.
BW: 3.0B sp 18.
We have a case.
One developer has created an infosource (from an ODS), but when I log on with my user-id it's not visible to me. If I go into process chain, and search for the infosource there, I find it.
The infosource was created, when the developer created an Infopackage on the ODS. I need to create several infopackages, but this is not possible
unless I get hold of the infosource.
Has anyone had experience with this? Why can't I see it unless I log on with the developers userid?
The developer has transported the ODS and infosource to our QA-system, but then it also became invisible to him, but still, can be found in process chain.
Help appreciated. Thanks.

Answer:
After some more searching I found the solution to this mystery:
1. Click on Infosources tree.
2. Choose Settings - Display Generated Objects
3. Choose "Show generated Objects" (this setting is default "Hide generated Objects).
The infosource now appears.
