I need Dist Chan in my FI Report (which has Sold-to). Now, I do not have Dist.Chan. in the FI Cube. I tried creating a multicube bewteen FI and SD (common char. 0SOLD-TO). However I get # for Dist Chan in the report. What is the best possible sol.

Distribution channel is a typical SD entity, not showing up in FI.
What you have to do is to enhance the reference SD-salesdocument in your FI extractor. With the aid of the sales document you can retrieve the distribution channel etc.
It is no use combining the sold-to parties. A sold-to party can be active in multiple sales areas.

However, we do not want to enhance the extractor neither we wish to change any std. business content. Want to know if there is any other workaround like creating multicube etc.

Hi,
In a typical SD FI interface, the FI billing doc is given the same no as the SD billing doc. You can have two cubes as given by Business content, one for the accouting docs (FI) and the other for the billing docs (SD). Then create a multicube to populate the Dist Ch from billing docs to the FI cube.
You may alternately use an ODS instead of a multicube depending on your reqmt.
