Question:
I moved a group of web templates using RSA1 transport connector into our test system. With this templates was attched a role. These queries were help back from moving into production. Since that time many templates and new versions of the role menu have moved into production. Last night I moved the old transport as well a new transport. In production the old transported role appeared even thought I released them in the correct order. Is there an issue with roles using RSA1 transport connector? Any ideas? Thanks,

Did you collect the role changes in the new transport?
Specifically if you collected all the template changes into the new transport and did not also collect the role in the new transport, then only the template changes were transported, and NOT the changes to the Role.
In the transport connection in RSA1 or in Role Maint in PFCG you need to explicitly collect the role in order to transport changes to it.

In RSA1 I have the collection mode set to manual. After I brought the web template I click on the execute ball to bring in all the related items (role, query element, web item). I then clicked on the select all button. I would think this would collect everything. Is there something I missed?
