Hi All:
I am trying to add a extra filter value in a query it gives me a error "Max. 50 characteristics in total allowed in rows and columns"......
Can some one tell if that is the max no of rows and columns you can have in a query or is there a way around to add more.....I need to add extra filter to all my queries and some of them give this error, i dont think i can remove any field to add the new filter value.

Btw. in free fields and filter you cann add more afaik. Did that once two retract data into co-pa from BW.

They have a reason to use so many due to some complex precentages on few of those reports......
it wont allow me to add new filter without removing some existing rows and columns or even free char's which is what I am trying to avoid.

It worked......you are right it allows you to add to filters and free char's, I was trying to execute the query...rather than save and execute.
