Question:
Hi All,
Is it possible to have a key figure based on the value of another characteristic?
Example:
- Characteristic Material Type
- Key figure: if Material Type = 1, result = value (Material)
else result = "Unknown")
I'm pretty sure this behavior could be dealt with in the update rules, but I would like a solution in the BEx.

What do you mean when saying value (material) ? Do you want to say that you see the value for the material, or do you see the material number ?
If you want to see a key only with material type = 1, create a restricted KF.
For second solution, you've to create before a formula variable with replacement path on the material number.
