Hi All,
I am having a problem with enhancing the extract structure MC11VA0ITM in the LO Cockpit area.
We are on BW 3.1 and R/3 4.6c and plug in 2003.1 versions.
We have added 15 zz fields in the VBAP table and I need to append the extract structures and take them to the the sales cube.
When I try to enhance the extract structure in LBWE by clicking maintenance extract structure .... it gives me the selection filter from where I can select the zz fields and transfer it to the left window for selection.
But as I hit oakie it gives me the following error.
Struct. from Appl. 11 due to open V3 proc. not changed -> Long text
Message no. MCEX 140
Diagnosis
Changing the extract structure MC11VA0ITM of application 11 is not recommended as there are no V3 update entries for the update module MCEX_UPDATE_11.
If an extract structure is changed for which there are still open V3 updates, these can no longer be updated and the V3 collective update is terminated.
Procedure
Start the V3 update using the "Job Control" function in the customizing cockpit (transaction yDS:TRAN.LBWE>LBWE) or delete those update entries that are already incorrect. You will find these in the update overview.
Also in LBWE if I try to change the update mode from serialized V3 update to any thing else I get a message saying that this method is obsolete with the current plug in. Its not allowing me to select the other 3 update methods like queued delta...unserialeized V3 etc....
Any help would be appreciated as this is very very urgent..... I need to append my extract structure with 15 fields added in the VBAP table.
I have deleted the setup tables and the delta queues are also empty.
Let me know what you think about this....???

I suggest the following.
1. Using transaction code LBWE, schedule the job immediately and empty out the queue. it will process the func module MCEX_UPDATE_11.
2. Use transaction code SM13 and see that there are no records .
3. Load the data to cube ( 2 times). 1st time all available data in the delta queue is loaded to the cube. Second time it will load 0 records.
4. Go to R3. Check the delta using transaction code RSA7. You should see 0 records for the data source.
Now, try to enhance the datasource. If you still have a problem, delete the datasource using RSA7. ( This means no more delta ). Try to enhance the datasource. It will work.
Also, some time back I did see an oss note regarding ZZ fields. We could not add 2nd character as Z. This was due to installation error. There is a system table which we need to fix. If you still have a problem, let us know, I will try to find out the OSS note.

Also, You need to delete the data from the setup tables. for example 04 - Means Plant maintenance. The data must be deleted using transaction code LBWG. Enter the relevant number. eg 04
Just to sum up.
1. Clear up the setup tables, using tran code LBWG.
2. Clear delta queue. In sm13, you should see 0 records
3. Load Delta to BW. You should see 0 records in RSA7.
